Tweed Valley Whey Farmhouse Cheeses Pty Ltd is a small 100% Australian owned artisan dairy business. Family owned and operated by Rob Harnett and his wife Suzanne along with Rob’s sister Susan Clarke and her husband Peter.
Rob and Suzanne run the 70+ head dairy herd which supplies the A grade quality milk for the gourmet cheeses. These cheeses are produced on farm in the purpose built premises which comprises of the cheese factory, artisan produce shop, gelato bar and licensed cafe.
The Dairy farm is on the Tweed Valley Way in the Burringbar Valley, just north of Byron Bay. Burringbar is situated at the entranceway to the Tweed which is also known as the Heartland of Australia’s Green Cauldron. The sub-tropical climate allows for lush pasture to be grown all year round. Our pasture based grazing system means you taste the freshness in the milk which flows into the flavours of the local terroir in the artisan cheeses.
